11:59 am	i think im in love with a certain chick who works at the dorms So it looks that BSA is going on tour after all. I was already giving up hope and spending all my money on beer and drugs. hahah I'll just sell a lot of my records at the shows when were on tour. Its gonna suck being away from everyone for a month but i know im gonna have the time of my life. Whose a rock star? Im a rock star. j/k Gallows played a drunken but very fun set on monday. Can't wait to play on friday, this time sober and in the right frame of mind. Whatever.. I just formed a new band yesterday. I just went to Ryan jolts house to fuck around and play guitar and then we ended up writing some super fast thrashy powerviolence fastcore songs ala slap ham records style. These songs have so many tempo changes and sounds like Dead head battlefield if they were punk rock. I just wanna keep it a three piece with me playing guitar and screaming. Missed Simon sez and Cruiser weight yesterday cuz i wanted to hang out with Clarissa instead. Got fucking wasted and had s super fun time. 10:34 am	im living it up, having a great time, drinking, rocking out, and piss people off I'm totally ready to rock today with Gallows holier then the cross. Jamming with this band makes me feel youthful again. Time to kick ass and take names. Ordered some really sissy records recently. Just some poppy punk stuff like Dillinger 4, none more black, Paint it black, Gunmoll, Discount, blah blah I like how a certain person will read my LJ then go narc to his sister telling em im talking shit. Get a life dude. Oh wait, you do have a life, Im the one whose a loser right? At least im happy. haha Just got the test press of the 2nd BSA record and i must say it sounds fucking brutal. For some strange reason it sounds different then the first one even though its from the same recording session. Very old swedish sounding ala anti cimex, avskum, and discard. so i've been chilling with this one girl for the last couple of weeks. I had a hugh crush on her back when i worked at ticket master and its weird that we ran into each other again after so long at simon sez 2 weeks ago. We've been hanging out ever since and having a great time. She's totally the opposite of a punk/emo girl. Just got the best record in modern punk rock. This band called gunmoll on no idea records which plays gruff style melodic punk which is not unlike jawbreaker, husker du, and leatherface. Hot water music without the chessyness. everyone should hear Lifetimes "hello bastard" lp. THis is what emotion is. ITs fast, it will make you cry, it make you jump around in your room, and its good to listen while you make love. haha Below is description of what im about for the kids who don't know me. -------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm eric, I'm uneducated but happy, I work full time as a cook, i play in Gallows holier then cross,BSA, and filthy fuckers among other band that are just starting out, I like to party and drink myself stupid, I love all my friends to death, Punk rock is my first priority, I may not have a lot but I make the most of it, I think most girls are flakes, I love making mean people feel like shit especially ex girl friends, I rather listen to a good record then read a book, I like to ski, I used to have anger management problems but it was only because i was dating lori, I'm cocky cuz i have the right to be, I'm eric and im gonna stay young till i die. 11:05 am	somethings never change, but some of the contents here i have edited so last weekend was weird. Oh well it could've been worst. Recap of The Austin fest weekend. Got drunk, watched some rad bands, drank some more, buy records, hung out with old friends,not being impressed with Avskum, made some new friends, drank some more, blah blah, early show kicked ass, Watch warcry tear everyone a new asshole, missed Born dead icons , watching deathreat show up everybody.Missing the awesome bridge show cuz im a "good" friend, Almost got in a fight with the Cutthroat singer, bsa played its best set ever so fuck you posers, got drunk , bought more records, got rear ended thanks to a drunk driver, blah blah blah The best part of the weekend was having my good friend all over me while Lori H. is sitting right behind us. Fuck yeah, im the best, macho style!!! Shitty part of the weekend was the car accident. I'm sure everything will be ok cuz i got insurance and so did the other drivers, My cars a total loss according to my insurance company so now i can pay it off and get another car. Its funny how some people are saying that Austin fest sucked when they didn't even go. Trust me, i would've seen you there. Gallows holier then the wang played another awesome show on thursday. Like i always say, IM THE FUCKING BEST. I think Filthy fuckers has a show this week. TO bad we haven't practiced in 6 months. Dillinger Four is the best american band right now along with the Soviettes. BSA is better then your band. Actually any of the bands im in are better then your band. Sorry im just a cocky mother fucker. No more being modest. Sparks is my new god. People who fall out of the scene/punk rock then bash it can go fuck yourself. You do your best to take care of someone then the next couple of days they just treat you like utter shit. It's such a crappy feeling. OH well.... cuz im always the ASSHOLE I'm a band whore mode again. I'm the "man" of the moment. just ask my friends. Girls love me. party punks never die, but sometimes we cry. 2:34 pm	things are so awesome right now that it could only get better!!!! so last Saturday Gallows holier then the cross played its best show ever. WE fucking kicked ass!!! I could say that cuz its not my band, i'm just playing bass for them. I felt so youthful and energetic playing with my good friends. I proved that an old overweight nerd can still rip it up better then the younger kids. Damn i love me life. All the bands did really good. I only saw one blunt song but i was floored. That bands fucking good. IFV sounded the best ive ever heard em. Very old school style punk. Intoxicated youth did good as usual. They always get the crowd going. So I went to see total chaos last week which was actually a good show. 40oz fucks are my new favorite valley punk band. The best part of the night is that i met this super awesome girl. She was nice, cute, and hardcore punk. SO we just spent the whole show talking about old school hardcore, youthcrew and mosh metal hardcore. IT was fucking awesome to finally hangout with a girl that knows her shit about good music. I was supposed go chill with her tonight in brownsville but i have to work in the morning. This girl has potential to be my next GF. hahah Tuesday was one of the best nights. I'm glad to finally have "closure" with this certain happychicken girl. We worked things out and hopefully our friendship will be the best it could be. I really love that girl so much. IF anyone ever tries to fuck her over, there will be hell to pay!!!! serious Got some good poppy punk records in the mail today from no idea records. Bitchin is a must hear. PUre melodic female punk fucking rock!!!! I wanna go see Mind eraser in San antonio on the 24 of may. They sound like Cali style powerviolence like my favorite bands Crossed out and No comment. Then the next day i wanna go see Fifth hour hero with The almighty J church in austin. Those bands are super poppy but so fucking good. Yes im turning into a sissy again I hope every true punk/hardcore kid will make it to Chaos en Tejas the first weekend in june. Come on guys Tragedy and deathreat are playing. So are the US d beat kings ,BSA. Hey everyone go to Metropolis tonight cuz Linda lovecat is having a party or something. It's to celebrate her graduating from high school, opps i mean collage. 4:22 pm	i envy my life right now, hahah things have been fucking great on this end of the spectrum, This weekend was fun as usual. The vfw show on saturday was alright, i was too busy drinking and looking at the hot little ladies. Chilled out with some young kids that i normal don't hang out with. Whats up betty and andrea, need me to buy you some beer? BSA played with MDC in corpus last night and i must say it was so much fun. I enjoyed all the bands that played. This new band called Bullet Frenzy was really good, not "d beat" like they claim but pure midwestern crust ala State of fear. Then this youth crewish band called Broken Ground was awesome too, reminds me when was in high school jamming to warzone, and youth of today. The next band that played was called Drop Out and they were fucking awesome!!! In a weird way, very Socal early 80's punk with snotty vocals. Then the all mighty/shitty BSA played next. We were just having a drunken ol' time jumping around all of place while we showed the kids whose the texas d beat king. We got a good response which is weird cuz I thought that swedish style d beat hasn't hit that part of texas yet. Anti cimex and Totalitar anyone? Damn, Drastic action got fucking good!!!! They always had there shit down but man, they got some great new songs and had better state presence. BLew me away. Now its time to make way for old timers, Million of dead cops. I must say that i was floored. Those guys were fucking intense. I should've bought some records from them but i was to wasted to remember. oh well So yeah, I'm doing this new band and we practice on thursday, hopefully. Its got Ryan jolt on drums, Jd holier then the cross on bass, me on guitar, and Roland fist fight on vocals. This bands gonna take it back when hardcore used to punk and fun. negative approach, citizen arrest,and 7 seconds mixed with the some blast beats come to mind. haha wow, BSA is playing a valley show this saturday at the VFW. Hope to see you kids there. Today i will rip it up at Simon sez, NO one will be spared!!!pretend Hey karina or donna do you wanna go? Just made a list of over a hundred bucks worth of records that I'm gonna order when i get paid this week or when i get my income tax. Just catching up on some old thrash and punk rock stuff like bad brains, pist, black flag, adolescents, ds 13 blah blah blah. SO we decided that BSA is gonna buy Miga's Dodge Stratus and fix it up for the Army of jesus/bsa tour this summer. SO now we can rest assured that this tour is gonna happen. 8:10 pm	im the fucking best so yeah, the Emo's show was alright. We played tight, to bad the sound guy gave us a shitty sound. Oh well, punk rock right? Army of jesus was great and my new favorite texas band, Modern needs. Awesome melodic punk. Can you believe i actually "hooked up" with a girl. Yes, im a fucking stud. hahah She was awesome and she's punk rock. I knew she was cool when i asked her whats the only portland band that matters, and she said Poison Idea. I'm in love, pretend. I met her last year at matamoros when Signal lost brought half of portland with them on tour the mexican tour. No girls no masters, no masters just punk!!!!! Listen to everything and don't limit your musical taste. the Soviettes are the best pop punk band at the moment. Even though i said i wasn't gonna do any more projects, I think im gonna be a band whore again. Yes, more eric fly side projects are coming. Right now im doing B.S.A., Filthy fuckers(returning soon) and Gallows holier then the cross. I got some other things lined up. haha Violent minds and Punch in the face are the best records i bought on my trip to austin. Looking forward to rocking this weekend. I really love VFW shows. 5:02 pm	"hey omar, am i gonna get laid" me......."not with that hair" omar Lets just say its defiantly a great time to be fucking punk!!!!!!!!! Chicago was fun even though we played a short set at the fest. Hey we got paid 300 bucks so that was awesome. The after party basement show was the fucking best! We actually didn't suck and everybody like the d beat assault. I just got done reading some positive stuff on message boards and website. So yeah, im in a band that sucks and nobody likes, but hey, we've done more then your band. haha Oh yeah, the BSA 7" is finally out. Check out hardcoreholocaust.com for more details. Saw some great bands and some crappy bands. best band of the weekend for me was Hit me back. A bunch of young chicano kids play awesome thrash. rambo was good and so was manciple waste even though im not a fan of their records. Riistytt wasn't that great. WB2d and signal lost good as always. Carrer suicide wasn't that great live but the 15 dollar 5 song limited Lp was fucking great. Sorry omar I ain't selling it to you. Jack control had a little scuffle with some young kid at the fest. He called us "BIG ASS A" Now say it fast. hahha had AWESOME vegan food at the fest. It was for all the bands. Migas almost took a leak on a couch cuz we was so fucked up. Ended up peeing all for the restroom floor. spent over 200 bucks on records. All good stuff. 6:41 pm	The only band that matters..............yep that one so yeah this weekend should be good. Last weekend was fucking great. VFW shows were fun, only cuz i like beer, then partyed balls at a Gangster/Goth party in alamo till 6 in the morning. I'm really looking forward to seeing JD's metal band tomorrow at the ranch. You sissys better rock out with your cock out. Then on Sat i'm also looking forward to checking out mololo band, Intoxicated youth!!!!!! Punk rock is great when there's beer and drugs involved. ROck on. So yeah we're waiting for the BSA 7" testing pressing to arrive in eddies mail. Timmy got em last friday and said they came out great. Lets hope so. The metal band hasn't practiced cuz migas is at a wedding or something. SO yeah after the failure of trying to do a japcore/crust/ metal blah blah side projects i think im gonna focus on one more project. I already got the set line up i just need a drummer. I'm prolly gonna ask Migas to help me out, or maybe Vinny jivtalker. Hey can you play punk? This band is gonna be pure fucking melodic socially aware punk with female vocals not unlike Post regiment, harum scarum, lost world, burning kitchen, old tilt, naked aggression blah blah. His body has been identified and will be transfered to Sweden shortly. His closest family and friends are in our thoughts right now. Mieszko will be missed by many. nasum.com will be closed for at least a month. You know why. There will be a slight update in a couple of days with some information about the future of Nasum along with some personal words about Mieszko. Thanks a lot for your support and your thoughts. 7:29 pm	being in a punk rock band don't make you a punk so things have been great on this home front. Partyed at Cypress on saturday which was great seeing Julians band play with Pepper again. I really really like johnny mac and the deadend dorks. hahaha So cyndi and yvette were there also and it was cool untill yvette was being so bitchy to me for no reason. I think she's in love with me. Single and ready to mingle right? I sure hope so. SO yeah, I think i just joined Catastrophe. I think i can pull it off, you know the deep grunts and fast speed picking. Cuz im the fucking best!!! SO i jammed out i with joe wang the other day and i thought it went really good. I just think i'm not gonna bother doing another band for a long time. Just bsa and catastrophe if that ends up working out . So chicago fest is just around the corner and im fucking ready!!! I plan on quiting my job the end of july cuz BSA and army of jesus are heading on a westcoast/midwest tour. Timmy is in the works of setting it up. Bsa was asked to be on a four way split lp with some austin bands thats gonna be released on Hardcoreholocaust. Finally some bragging rights for the most hated/worst valley band. 1:52 pm	It's a great time to punk rock!!!!! Great weekend of course. Lame ass emo show was fun, only because of the beer and the girls. I'm gonna be doing a new band soon, hopefully it will go good. I know im gonna be dealing with totally different creative minds but we'll see what comes out. I want some straight up japcore thrash not unlike Total fury, jelly roll rockheads,lipcream, exclaim, lie, Nk6, gaia, blah blah. I ask my ennui jolt Ryan to play bass so i can handle second singing duties. Monica wang doing the most of the screaming, Joe pipi handling the thrash beat attack, and Jaime M. ripping up on the ax. I think everyone who even cares about hardcore/punk should listen to this very fucking crucial/brutal bands; totalitar,propagandi, mob 47,old discharge, antishism, disrupt, resist, paintbox and everything japanese, dirt, dropdead, riistytt, meanwhile. Its a great time to be punk rock. So this weekend im heading to Monterey to check out a womens punk rock festival. I'll be meeting up with timmy and the signal lost kids. I know im gonna have a great time. Punks from mexico are the fucking nicest and coolest people around. 7:50 pm	call me stenchcore!!! so things have been going great at usual. The Severed of state show was great and so was the after party. Party punks!!!! SHOS has to be one of the best bands i've seen live, and thats cuz i've seen hundreds and hundreds of "real" bands live. Partyed with Angel M. on friday which was fun. Went to Goth night which there happened to be Apollo Male stripper night. Ha ha ha it was the fucking best. It was the funniest thing ive seen in a long time. We ran into Yvette and Cyndi at cypress and chilled with those chiqita babies the rest of the night. For once those girls where the ones that were fucking trashed while me and Angel where the nice sober gentlemen that we are. pretend. Saturday show was really fun. Was not in the right frame of mind as usual thanks to my loving god, Budlight. BSA played and we didn't suck this time. I finally talked to this girl that i have a "little Show crush" on and i had nothing interesting to say but "you look bored...I met you last time.. blah blah" Damn i'm lame. i'm off to to listen to some obscure finnish and swedish bands because im so cool cuz i listen to "Underground" music. party punks!!!! 7:49 pm	no love lost.... well things have been somewhat of a blur... partyed hardcore with some scary wesleco thugs last week. I woke up in a strangers bed not know where i was at till i realized i was at my friend Rene's house. Ifa norax,weed, and beer don't go well together. Worked all day on friday feeling like shit but i still managed to have fun after work. I ran into Yvette(awww) and cyndi at goth night. I chilled with them and had a good time just catching up on old times. I like those ladies company. Off to austin all hung over on saturday morning. I had the greatest time hanging out with old friends and rocking their socks off with Bsa brutal d beat assault. All the bands did great. Severed head of state left me floored. After the show I stayed out till 7 in the morning hanging out at two different hipseter emo parties. They were fucking fun. Saw a bunch of pretty ladies and hot dudes. I bought some really good records while i was up there. I talked to Liz while i was up in austin and we were supposed to hang out. She was working most of the weekend and when she called me to see if I wanted to have a drink i was already leaving town. Oh well, maybe next time. BSA is featured in the austin scene report in the new MRR. damn i love me life. I really need to stop drinking and driving home. Everyone i know is getting DWI and stuff. Went to simon sez yesterday. 3:41 pm	things have been going good. Just the same ol shit, drinking, partying, and working. I'm really looking forward to austin this week. I'm gonna be in full party punk mode and no one will be spared from the bashing. Not even you!!!! Sparks beer here I come. so yeah, on a cheerful note BSA is back to practicing again and its going real good. Just pure swedish d beat punk rock. So after this weekend im gonna start working on my new band. I already got the lineup and a few songs. Just pure fun female fronted melodic punk rock. Hey all you fucks. The after party for the Severed head of state show is gonna be at julians house. I already got the ok. So yeah, who was that girl with Sarah(Adriantothemax girlfriend) at georges show last friday. I think she told me her name was Angie. She cute. hehehe SAw johnny mac yesterday at simon sez and they were fucking great. I miss you pepper ann.
